We will collect personal information from you over the course of our relationship. If we do not collect this personal information this may prejudice your chances of obtaining finance. It is absolutely paramount that you provide us with as much correct and comprehensive information as possible so that we have the best possible chance of assisting you. This website is not designed for the purpose of providing personal financial advice.  

You are aware that the information you have just provided is collected initially for the purpose of considering your application for finance and may be given to a number of lenders at the discretion of the broker & lender.  If this application is approved you understand that the information will be used by the broker & lender for the purpose of administering the loan.

We abide by the laws relating to Privacy and the safeguarding of information. The information is collected by CREDIT EXPRESS Limited – PO Box 22 097, High Street, Christchurch, New Zealand 8146.  

Under the Privacy Act 1993 you have the right of access to, and correction of, your personal information held by us. Please advise us of any changes in your personal contact details such as residential or email address or telephone numbers as soon as possible. 

We will keep our file (except any of your papers which you ask to be returned to) for at least seven years. This is on the understanding that we have your authority to destroy the file at any time after the expiry of this period. 

Your personal information will be used by us and may be used by other related companies in our group to provide ongoing advisory services, and to tell you about other financial services and financial products that may be of interest to you. PRIVACY ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

Privacy Act 1993 
I/We 
a) declare the information I have provided in the application is true and correct, and that I am/we are over the age of 18 years and I am/we are not an undischarged bankrupt/s;

b) authorise you, CREDIT EXPRESS Limited, to share information gathered as part of this application with selected lending providers, for the purpose of obtaining finance for me, and

c) agree that CREDIT EXPRESS Limited and its lending providers will use the information they collect about me to assess my application, verify my identity, and for administrative and marketing purposes. They may disclose to, and obtain from, credit reporting and government agencies, other credit providers and insurers, personal information about me for these purposes. They may disclose to, and obtain from, my employer or accountant names in my application, personal information for employment and income verification purposes.

d) I consent to Veda (or the Ministry of Justice) disclosing to CREDIT EXPRESS Limited any information they hold relating to any overdue fines that may be outstanding against myself.

I authorise CREDIT EXPRESS Limited and its lending providers to give my personal information to credit reporting agencies, which will hold it and disclose it to authorised users of their services.

I authorise and accept that CREDIT EXPRESS Limited will obtain, use, and disclose any and all of my information for the purposes of seeking approval for a personal loan or mortgage, and I further authorise and accept the release to CREDIT EXPRESS Limited of any information held by credit reference agencies and credit providers (selected finance companies and banks selected by Credit Express).

e) I/we agree to meet the cost of an independent valuation of the security to support this application, such valuation to be obtained by me in consequence of this application. My/our solicitor/agent is authorised to accept any notification on my/our behalf.

f) I/we declare that the above information is true and correct in every particular, and it is upon this basis that I/we make this application.

I/we acknowledge that if the finance company provides this finance, the finance company:

a) May send all documentation relating to my loan agreement to CREDIT EXPRESS Limited to enable CREDIT EXPRESS Limited to facilitate loan fulfilment. They may also collect and monitor personal information about me for the administration and protection of such credit (including utilising any credit reporters’ monitoring services to receive updates if my information changes), and may disclose repayment history information, details relating to my account, and any payment default information to credit reporters which may hold the information and disclose it to authorised users of their services.

b) May collect and monitor personal information about me/us as is necessary for the administration and protection of such credit, and

c) May provide any of the personal information to a third party employed by the finance company to assist in enforcement of any agreement between us.

d) I/we request the finance company or any related finance company to send me/us details of other products and services from time to time.

Where the personal information may readily be retrieved, I/we shall have access to it, and the right to request correction. I am aware that there may be security risks relating to the electronic transmission of information, and neither CREDIT EXPRESS Limited or its lending providers can guarantee confidentiality if I choose to receive any information or documents via email.

Provision of Additional Services 
I authorise CREDIT EXPRESS Limited and the FINANCE COMPANY to disclose personal information about me to a credit agency for the purposes of compiling a credit report, creating a credit profile, merchandising, market research and offering additional services/credit facilities. The information that may be disclosed includes: 
name, address and telephone number; the loan amount of any facility; any debits made; the frequency and amounts of payments made including details of overdue payments. I understand that I have the right to access and request correction of my personal information held by the credit reporting agency.

New Zealand Products and Services 
The products and services described in this web site are available only to New Zealand residents and in relation to property in New Zealand. CREDIT EXPRESS Limited regrets that, at this time, it cannot accept applications for these products and services from persons other than New Zealand residents.
